GETTING INVOLVED IN LABORATORY RESEARCH
October 2nd, 2020 | 5 PM
Every year we like to host this meeting to give our undergraduates an opportunity to join us to learn about the sometimes-intimidating process of getting involved in undergraduate research. It also gives the opportunity for students involved in research, undergraduates and graduates, to talk about what it's like to be involved in research and what it's like to be in a lab.
In this meeting you can expect to learn how to find faculty whose research interests you, how to approach research faculty, what to expect from working in a lab, opportunities linked to undergraduate research, and finally an opportunity to talk to students involved in research!

WE HEAR YOU LETS TALK ABOUT PROGRESS IN COMMUNITY
November 13th @ 5 PM
We know it is a busy time of year right now, and we are nearing the switch to online classes. More on the best practices for that switch next week! This week we'll have SACNAS CSU's We Hear You Let's Talk About Progress in Community! Tomorrow Friday November 13th at 5 PM. This will be another great breakout discussion meeting centered around the following questions:
What is community to you? What kind of community is present at CSU?
Are you happy with the progress occurring at CSU/SACNAS? What progress do we want to see?
This meeting would be a great opportunity to invite friends who have been missing the community we used to have in previous years, so please bring someone who you value as being part of your community!
